The club's pride and joy is a 5.8M Humber Destroyer RIB bought with the aid of a Lottery grant in March 1999. Research into the right boat for the job lasted some 12 months, with a vast selection of boats and power units on the market, we had to be sure that it would fully meet our needs and give several years of trouble free service. SBSAC - Launch Sites

We generally launch the club RIB from the ramp at East Beach car park, which provides direct access to many of our favourite dive sites. The ramp has recently been refurbished and SBSAC has been actively involved in the design consultation with the local council.
