Chris and I have a date night once in a blue moon. But when we do, the kids get just as excited as we do. Perhaps they get excited because they are parent free for a few hours. Perhaps it's because they are allowed to watch tv and play video games while we're gone. But I seriously think it's all about the photo ops!

Last week Chris and I chaperoned Blake's Kindergarten class to the Portland Zoo. Even though it was wet, we had a flippen good time all thanks to Chris. Last Sunday we got geared up and found our way downtown for the Blazer Family Fun Fest. We were there early enough to get decent seats. The kids had popcorn and we took turns holding the "claw! We had Ranen's half brother with us. Then today we decided to take advantage of the sun and hit the pumpkin patch.

Summer fun at dad's. Fred was kind enough to send me some pictures of Blake and some of the things she has been doing . They have horses. They had to sell her pony Magic, but they have a few more she can ride. And here she is riding another powerful mode of transportation. a power wheel! And that my friends, is priceless!
