SFO to LON: September 2011

http://sfo-to-lon.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

I moved to London from San Francisco. Tuesday, September 06, 2011. This is travelling UK style - trip to Norfolk and Suffolk. Sorry so far behind - must catch up on the last couple of months. So after returning from Somerset with Sarah, I took off with Robert on a driving tour of Norfolk and Suffolk. I made him pose for many embarrassing photos. Luckily he is a ham of the old school and didn't mind. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). San Francisco, United States. View my complete profile.

I moved to London from San Francisco. Monday, August 29, 2011. Good Jam haul from the village fete. It was very fun; there was lots of junk for sale, a tambola. Funny games, and tea and cakes in the church. Time to set off back to the big smoke but one more picture of Sarah and her Mum in front of the cottage. Links to this post. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Part of August Bank Holiday weekend trip to Somerset was a quick whip around the ground of Wells Cathedral. Swans (not ringing the bell). Known as Evrec...

SFO to LON: Wells Cathedral

http://sfo-to-lon.blogspot.com/2011/08/wells-cathedral.html

I moved to London from San Francisco. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Part of August Bank Holiday weekend trip to Somerset was a quick whip around the ground of Wells Cathedral. Which as frequeently turns out, is a pretty interesting place with a ton of history - smack in the middle of rural England. The present cathedral was begun in 1175 on the sight of a much earlier Saxon church from about 705. the 1175 church was the first English Church to be built in the French Gothic style. Swans (not ringing the bell).

The Blog of Lists. LIST: –noun 1. a series of names or other items written or printed together in a meaningful grouping or sequence so as to constitute a record. - the blog of lists: -noun 2. random guff from my brain. The online product reviewing web sire Reevoo. Has published the results of a poll to show the most useless British products, and quite frankly, it makes you wonder if these companies have a quality control department or do any product testing. They be producing. Let's name and shame them!

Every year the Eurovision Song Contest brings pop singers from every European country (except, for some reason, Italy) to the capital of the country that won the contest the year before, and after an evening of tawdry, crazy, often totally insane acts, voting by the public determines the winner.
