I'll read.and remember. S's 1st grade teacher sent home a sheet asking parents to volunteer to read to the class. But reading to my kiddos is a whole different story. This I love. As a kid, I loved books. As an adult, I love books. I will rarely say no to my kids if they want to buy a book. However, I realized tonight that I always tell my students to write in their journals that I have given them, when they feel things, any things, meaningful or not. Write them down, I say. Feb 20, 2011. Bryant's been playing Jr. Jazz Basketball, and he's having a good time! We sure love him! Jan 28, 2011. Bryant has been so excited for the Pinewood Derby. All the usual excitement that boys get when it's time to build cars and race them against the other boys in the pack has been building up ever since he received that little block of wood. Being the third boy in the family, he has been able to attend numerous derbies, and he always looks forward to watching the cars race! Great job, buddy!
