So I went to my first training a week ago, and boy was I in for a surprise. Our reading program is Fundations. Expanding the Minds of the Tiny Humans of 1st Grade! After 7 years teaching 5th grade, I'm moving on down to 1st grade. Wednesday, August 10, 2016. I am not a creative person. I look at Pinterest and wonder why things I try to make never look the same way. They make it look so easy! I've been in the upper grades for so long (17 years teaching 3rd, 4th, or 5th), and never used any cutesy themes. I decided it's time to try and be creative, and if I can't, I always have my mother who is ultra-creative.
