Grand Commandery of Knights Templar. A Commandery of Knights Templar is traditionally the final York Rite body that a member joins. While you Receive the Degrees of both the Royal Arch and the Royal and Select Master; as a Sir Knight, you are given Orders. Our constituent commanderies operate under the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of New Mexico, which in turn operates under The Grand Encampment Knights Templar. These York Rite Commandery Orders include:. The Illustrious Order of the Red Cross.

Knights of York Court of Honour. Written by Stephen Balke. Posted in News. Knights of York Court of Honour. The Order was formed in Monroe, North Carolina on March 13,1930. On June 6,1930 the Convent General of the United States of America was formed to administer the Order. Requirements for membership are that each proposed candidate for membership must have presided over a Lodge as a Master, over a Chapter as High Priest, over a Council as Illustrious Master and over a Commandry as Commander.

Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters. A Council of Royal and Select Masters is the third York Rite body that a member joins. It is often referred to as Cryptic Masonry and is the last body where degrees are conferred in the York Rite system of instruction. Our constituent councils operate under the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of New Mexico which chooses allegiance to the General Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters.
