Sunday, October 17, 2010. I almost gave up on documenting our trip on here, it's pretty time consuming going through all of these photos and editing them, that and since I have a new blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

http://maddyandseth.blogspot.com/p/about-us.html
Currently, I live in Seattle, Seth and I work 40 hours a week selling (me) and designing (Seth) wedding invitations. And I'm working on getting my photography website up and will try to build that business as well. We have a pomeranian named Cosi, so for now it's just us three. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Travels: January 2011

Sunday, January 23, 2011. This dude is holding a light-saber. Pretty sure this is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I miss Paris so much! Paris - Museums and McDonalds. Yes that's right, McDonalds. Before getting the train to Giverny we had some time to kill and decided to stop for breakfast at the coolest McDonald's we had ever seen. The food was so good too! Instead of a hash brown it came with little croisants. Paris does everything better and its just the truth, sorry! Bring your own headphones,...

Our Travels: June 2010

Sunday, June 13, 2010. Ahhh paris, where do I start with you? Anyway, I am here to tell you that it is impossible to build up Paris. Walk to The Eiffel Tower. It only took me one day to get over my homesickness and fall in love with Paris. Since we hadn't figured out the metro system yet we decided to walk to the Eiffel tower. It looked pretty close but it was actually a lot longer than we thought. It was okay though because it was a beautiful walk and we really enjoyed it. But in all seriousness, and th...

Our Travels: April 2011
http://maddyandseth.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 10, 2011. We were sad to leave Paris, sad indeed. But, when I scheduled our train tickets months in advance, the lady I spoke with on the phone hooked me up with first class tickets from Paris to Amsterdam, it was cheaper some how. Anyway, the train ride was AWESOME. It was comfy, we got snacks, drinks, and the scenery was wonderful. Is Seth really sleeping? You will never know. European Coke = better than American Coke. The Train station in Amsterdam:. Photo shoot by one of many canals:.

Green Bluebirds: Momentum

Friday, May 15, 2015. Lucky for her, I work pretty well under pressure.I was practically the queen of procrastination, growing up. ;). I have to say, it was fun picking out art supplies for the project, setting up my own space, and carving out as much time as I could that week. I don't know why it's so hard for me to make creative time for myself, but this commission got me thinking that I really need to. I did two big pieces for the band teacher- one 2'x2' mural of the band in marching formation. I thin...

Wednesday, October 12, 2011. I did start to get homesick, and I had a bout of anxiety while there, but looking back, it was a really great time. Good food, long walks, and shopping. Before I show you the photos, you should know that I had been there only a few days when my digital SLR camera broke. What else broke? The few shots I was able to get on my SLR before it stopped working:. The rest are from the little digital camera or one of my toy film cameras. I can't remember where this was:.

Friday, April 30, 2010. First day in Moscow. We passed this building painted like a cabin everyday, it reminds me of Courage the Cowardly Dog. We went to Cannon's school as well and I thought this playground was so cute. All the playgrounds look like this, and after thinking about it doesn't really make sense for them to look like American playgrounds. When we got home seth fell asleep, I stayed up until 11, which brought my total time of being awake to about 24 hours. Monday, April 26, 2010. Moscow has ...

Monday, May 31, 2010. Moscow - Sergiev Posad. These were the arches you come in through, every inch painted (like many things in russia) and it was very pretty. These are some details, this dude on the left is St. Sergius, who this place is based on. I don't know much about him except that he was way righteous and devout. This fountain contains holy water, some believe it has healing powers. It was really kind of amazing. Saturday, May 29, 2010. And Martha said, very. Ha! So we are now in Switzerland, ou...
