House Full of Monkeys: Chicken Strips (forever)
http://monkeyhousefull.blogspot.com/2015/07/chicken-strips-forever.html
House Full of Monkeys. This blog started out as a family blog. The name derives from the fact that, according to the Chinese Zodiac, all the members of my household are Monkeys. Somehow, my hobbies started taking over, and I finally gave in. You'll still see an occasional "family" post, but mostly, this Monkey likes to show off. Wednesday, July 1, 2015. How long should it take to finish a mini-quilt? I just couldn't seem to get that quilting done, until I made myself pick it up, again and again. Whale Ja...

The RosieDaisy Daily: Pray for Genesis
http://therosiedaisy.blogspot.com/2011/11/pray-for-genesis.html
Genesis is the nephew of one of my mom's friends. He's five and was diagnosed with Stage IV Embryonal Parameningeal Rhabdomyosarcoma with METS to the lungs. He's doing well considering, but please remember to pray for him and other children with Rhabdo. I was reading his CaringBridge Journal and the story of a little girl was so sweet that I wanted to share it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subjects of Other Posts. From my bible readings. The RosieDaisy Daily: from The Hammer of God by Bo Giertz
http://therosiedaisy.blogspot.com/2011/08/from-hammer-of-god-by-bo-giertz.html
From The Hammer of God by Bo Giertz. 8220;I just want you to know from the beginning, sir, that I am a believer,” he said. His voice was a bit harsh. He saw a gleam in the old man’s eyes which he could not quite interpret. Was approval indicated, or did he have something up his sleeve? The rector put the lamp back on the table, puffed at his pipe, and looked at the young man a moment before he spoke. 8220;So you are a believer, I’m glad to hear that. What do you believe in? Fridfeldt was almost speechless.

Shari Sews: July 2011
http://sharisews.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 30, 2011. This is a top I make up at the beginning of July. Love it! When I get a chance I may just have to make it again. Dress (or tunic) with yoke and front gathers. 33-44 I cut out a 42 but I had to take in the yoke so it would fit my shoulders If I make it again I will cut a 38 on the yoke. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Were the instructions easy to follow? What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
