No one is more surprised than I am that I am finished with this weeks clue the Sunday before the next Friday clue! I am usually much better at procrastination. For this weeks clue, we had to use the HST's from one of the previous clues. The needed a little squaring up. Annabelle was slacking on the supervising. I stapled the directions backwards.

One coat of primer, two coats of porch paint. Painted all the trim before the second coat. Then corner molding for each step. Going down the stairs, they all seems to blend together. A Quilt For Maya. I have been busy in the sewing room, trying to finish up some quilt tops that needed quilting. This one is for my three year old Grand daughter. I used the pattern called Baby Lattice Quilt by following the tutorial provided by Amy Smart at Moda Bake Shop. It was a fun quilt to make and I know I will be making another soon. Tuesday, January 3, 2017. New Year - New? On my Christmas break, although mostly good, a horrible, horrible event happened. ON CHRISTMAS DAY! My sewing machine broke. :( I spent hours and hours looking into to. Cleaning it, re-threading it, changing the needles. Finally I discovered a HUGE crack in the bobbin case. Still wasn't working. It was sewing for the most part, but it had an occasional hiccup and loop/knot on the back. What was going on? The extra throat room? Pressure Foot pressure adjustment?

Friday, 14 August 2015. Dog Gone Cute Quilt Along Blog Hop. On Wednesday, I announced the upcoming Dog Gone Cute. Quilt Along Blog Hop. And the response has been overwhelming! Which is a good thing. The Quilt Along starts in September and the Blog Hop begins in October. There will be a linky party in November. So it's certainly not to late to join in! Dog Gone Cute mock up drawn in EQ7.
