Psysai: Use and don't throw!!
http://psysai.blogspot.com/2014/12/use-and-dont-throw.html
Dec 4, 2014. Use and don't throw! Phew cleared the webs finally! It's been a while since I updated this space. Come December and all self-promises from the year almost-gone-by come soaring for verification. Hoping to update this more often.no hard promises this year. I created this illustration while researching on the topic as someone I know has been showing symptoms for a long time. Non-awareness in the society (including 3 doctors staying in the same neighborhood) has only made it worse.

Psysai: Inky Galaxy
http://psysai.blogspot.com/2013/01/inky-galaxy.html
Jan 16, 2013. It was a regular day of digging into the art-cupboard. A few things made sense today. I found inks and glass paints and colour paper. Throw in some salt and I found a Galaxy on my desk. Jan 6, 2012. My first ever canvas and it was up in the One Square Foot exhibition. In collaboration with Studio Verve, Artists and Designers. I realized why I never did a canvas painting.a canvas demands from me to be formal and relevant and worth the effort in stretching and mounting. Also the colour white by itself in intimidating and scary. My work is the one with feet together. It reads 'This is all the personal space you have'- taking the name of the exhibition literally, to send out a message.

Jan 17, 2013. A Limerick and a Block. One Diwali day, while in the campus I stayed. I gathered a lot of junk and packed it in my trunk. I moved one day with all the junk that lay. In the trunk which I only opened after a year in Bombay. I found rocks and socks and wooden blocks. Of which I painted a block in the memory of that Diwali day. Jan 16, 2013. Psysai: Rec-room capture
http://psysai.blogspot.com/2013/01/rec-room-capture.html
Jan 10, 2013. Damayanti posted a picture on Facebook of one of the rec-room parties we had a year and a half back. Something intrigued me about everyone's action in the picture. Since I spent a lot of time cutting and gluing things together to make a series of collages in the past two days, I held on to the tools and made my version. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
