To stitch, perchance to assess risk in an intelligent manner, and laugh while doing so. Tuesday, 25 November 2014. Drawing in the British Museum and birthday postcards. Our tutor is very keen on everyone getting over their nerves about drawing in public, so we all went to the British Museum today. I'm still struggling with relative proportions as seen in these first two A4 pages from the Mexican gallery, supposedly of Huaxtec female deities . The Narnia postcard is now edged and ready to send off.

Passe le temps, la tête pleine de projets.Un point à la fois. Vendredi 10 juillet 2015. Baltimore Garden Quilt 4. Time to prepare the outer borders with the swags. Can you see the swag I've just sewn?

Without an agenda, without expecting anything back, without holding back. Monday, April 27, 2009. It's been a while. i hope this means as much to as it has to me since i learned it. Did you know there are tribes around the world who do not have a word for "mine," but only for "ours." that seemed so foreign to me, and in a way (after thinking about it for a while now) it still does, but it also has become a beautiful idea to me. here in america, it's all about me, me, me. I have a new car. Mine, mine, mine.

Skip to main content. Skip to secondary content. November 12, 2013. It’s so hard to believe that Ollie is 14 months old today. He is such a funny little kid. I tend to get some weird looks from other moms at daycare when they overhear me telling Ollie that he’s such a weirdo, but it’s true! And I love it! We tried to do some coloring the other day, but I think he was too hungry to focus on the arts and crafts. He still loves to wrestle rocky whenever the cat will tolerate it. October 20, 2013. Sew Much Love, Mary
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Bohemian Fall" / Quick Refashion. So today's is a quick refashion, but it made all the difference. You see the awkward elastic in the before photo? I don't know, I just wasn't feeling nor having it LOL. 1 I grabbed my seam ripped and took off the elastic. 2 The edge of the shirt was already finished, so I just measured the bottom to cut out my lace. 4 I sewed both pieces together. 5 I sewed all around and overlapped the two lace pieces. Labels: refashion and sewing. He will en...
