Sewn the World Over: Baby Romper Suit for the New Arrival

http://www.sewntheworldover.com/2014/07/baby-romper-suit-for-new-arrival.html

Sunday, 20 July 2014. Baby Romper Suit for the New Arrival. After all the toddler dress making, I thought I should also make something cute for the new arrival. I found a great pattern for a simple romper suit from Purperita on Etsy. And made this adorable outfit. The pattern is great for beginners and is also good for learning how to sew on bias binding. I made the romper from a lightweight cotton pattern fabric I found at Fabricland. Sewn the World Over. 31 July 2014 at 23:43. Those are so cute!

Sewn the World Over: Finding time to sew again

http://www.sewntheworldover.com/2014/11/finding-time-to-sew-again.html

Thursday, 6 November 2014. Finding time to sew again. When I started this blog, I had some great time slots for sewing while my toddler was at playschool a couple of mornings a week. But, since having my second child almost three months ago I have not sewn a thing and my blog has been completely neglected. In the last week, I have finally started to feel as though I am getting into the swing of things again: On Saturday I managed to carve out two whole hours of only slightly interrupted sewing time!

Sewn the World Over: March 2015

http://www.sewntheworldover.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 4 March 2015. As well as learning how to sew, I am also learning where to find fabrics in Toronto. Over the past few months I have been checking out fabric shops all over the city as well as a few online sellers and will be writing about some of my favourites in this blog. Fabric selection at King Textiles. Note: do not go with small children, your buggy won't fit down the aisles and your little people will have a field day pulling haberdashery from the shelves! Sewn the World Over: December 2014

http://www.sewntheworldover.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, 18 December 2014. My sewing time has dried up again, so no new posts of clothes sewing for a while (my Belcarra blouse is still a work in progress). But these cute Christmas decorations were quick to sew up and I managed to fit them into a spare hour. I got the pattern and the fabric from Love Sewing magazine. Sewn the World Over. Unique creations by Julie McCready. Fabric Jewellery and Bags. My work is inspired by the countryside around me and the changing seasons. I love to capture a moment or memory to treasure and revisit. I am passionate about a variety of media and love to explore and mix techniques in new ways. Sewntears.wordpress.com – What you seek is seeking you.

What you seek is seeking you. A Japanese myth reads that if one folds a thousand origami paper cranes, the gods grant him one wish;. And I have been making origami wishes,. Throwing them to the universe in the hope that the Mother grants me three. One: There is more to life than fast glances and shallow breaths. Enjoy the bloom of flowers in October. Watch them die in December;. Be alive in all seasons of life. Two: Give love time. Do not kneel before altars of unrequited. Growth is lonely but beautiful.
