PurpleMumPam: Moda Bake Shop Love Pin Win!
http://purplemumpam.blogspot.com/2012/09/moda-bake-shop-love-pin-win.html
Saturday, September 22, 2012. Moda Bake Shop Love Pin Win! There are not many competitions that I enter. Basically I don't consider myself a lucky person, so I think mostly I am wasting my time. However, this is one competition I thought would be well worth wasting some time over! A combination of Pinterest and Modabakeshop, what could be better really? Well, yes there are other great combinations out there, Gin and Tonic is the first one that springs to mind! So, here is my first Pin to Win. I have a pa...

Sutton for Mum – THORNBERRY
https://thornberry.wordpress.com/2015/01/13/sutton-for-mum
Things I make and holidays we take. Tuesday, 13 January, 2015. Have you met my Mum? She does pop up on the blog every now and then – usually shortly after Christmas! It seems that sometimes the first garment that I sew for the year is for her, when I am visiting. Last year I made her a couple of Crafty Mamas Cherish dresses. Okay, the phone photos aren’t quite as clear as I’d like, but you can still tell that Mum looks great, can’t you! 9 thoughts on “ Sutton for Mum. I’ve got the Sutton printed ou...

My Wedding Dress « poppykettle
https://poppykettle.com/2014/05/21/my-wedding-dress
We were married under three 100 year old London Plane trees in Victoria’s high country in mid-April, just as the autumn leaves started to turn. I sewed my wedding dress (duh) and I don’t think I’ve been prouder of something I’ve achieved for myself – ever. It made the experience that much more special! Leisa, my Fabric Fairy Godmother. Alessia and the crew @ Marfy – the best patterns out there – thank you! Vikki Leigh Martin, for helping with proportion and fit. Susan Khalje, for enabling. All photos (ex...

new togs for Thailand – part 2 | thornberry
https://thornberry.wordpress.com/2014/06/12/new-togs-for-thailand-part-2
New togs for Thailand – part 2. I wasn’t the only person in need of new togs for Thailand. Both of my daughters needed (wanted) some too! This time it was Kwik Sew 3605. These are for Clare. Boy leg bathers bottoms, and a coordinating tankini top. The bottoms were made from scraps, and the top from a small piece of fabric that someone had given me. I had to cut the straps from another swimsuit fabric that was in stash. This pair uses the same fabric as I used for the straps of the first pair. It̵...

PurpleMumPam: Way tooo Long
http://purplemumpam.blogspot.com/2012/09/way-tooo-long.html
Sunday, September 16, 2012. It has been way to long since I have blogged. It really is very simple. If i don't write, there is nothing to read, end of blog. Many things have happened, there has been a lot of water under the bridge, I have been away, but now it is time to regroup and get on with it! I really hope he likes it, you just never know with 15 year old teenage boys! Here is the photo. I used Elizabeth Hartman's Avalon Pattern, a favourite of mine. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

PurpleMumPam: Happy Easter! A little belated..
http://purplemumpam.blogspot.com/2012/04/happy-easter-little-belated.html
Monday, April 9, 2012. Easter has been somewhat of a non-event here, as I worked for all of it. The upside is that I now have some time off, which is just lovely, and very much needed. I did manage to get a quilt finished that has been waiting around for some time. This is one for my niece for Christmas, so it was a little late! However, it has turned out well, and she tells me she loves it. April 9, 2012 at 5:14 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wool Wax Tote PDF Pattern is here!

PurpleMumPam: January 2012
http://purplemumpam.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 26, 2012. It's been a quiet few days on the creating front, I have been a bit off colour, and have had some time off work. Of course the first thing that desserts you when you feel like this is your creative mojo. Things are starting to look up, which is always good, and after a good sleep in today, I managed to get some things done. First I finished the quilt top for my niece that is her Christmas present. Monday, January 16, 2012. First off was a trip to Spotlight to stock up on a few...
