The story of our lives…. Pictures from Heather’s Day 2012. This year we are taking part in a plasticulture study with UK so they came out and laid the plastic for us the other day. We have grown in plastic before and it’s a life saver when it comes to weeds and water. Here is what our garden looks like now (or at least midway through laying the plastic. Here it is…. Thursday, April 28, 2011. When our oldest daughter. Became engaged, I decided to start a family tradition of the wedding quilt. I got this idea sort of from my grandmother who had made enough quilts (each one entirely HAND-QUILTED! For each of her children and grandchildren and had them set aside in her quilt box. This came to a total of sixteen (! Well, we only have two. I decided upon the Sweet Dreams pattern. And watched someone using the SewSlip. Why, it would practically sew the quilt by itself!
