At Home on the Prairie: December 2011
http://handmadeprairie.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
At Home on the Prairie. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Tis' the season for twinkling lights, nights by the fire, woolen socks, and lots and lots of sparkle! Normally, I keep outfit posts separate, but the clock keeps ticking, and I am sadly short of pretty pictures. I endeavor to capture more of this week! A little bit 1920's a little bit of the 60's too! This gorgeous wool dress was found on my birthday thrifting spree and I have been waiting patiently for winter weather to wear it! A Store Wide Event!

At Home on the Prairie: October 2011
http://handmadeprairie.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
At Home on the Prairie. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. It's been a while since I did an outfit post. I love the change in seasons. For so many reasons, Fall is my favorite (at least until Spring) but one thing I love about Fall is getting to wear boots, sweaters and scarves! And let me tell you, I live for layers! It is so much fun to throw on the boots, socks, tights and a skirt. The combinations are exponential and with our extended warm spell, perfect! Tee shirt: thrifted, J Crew. Scarf: handmade by my Oma.

At Home on the Prairie. Tuesday, February 14, 2012. In honor of our SIXTH anniversary. Six years ago, I promised forever to the man who makes my heart race. While he isn't able to hold my hand today, I can look at these two, and know how much I am loved. And, he will be back soon! We made it to the teens, Woohoo! Tuesday, February 14, 2012. At Home on the Prairie: September 2012
http://handmadeprairie.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
At Home on the Prairie. Monday, September 24, 2012. On the very important occasion of turning 6. Yes, that is a boomerang. Yep he broke a window within 20 minutes of opening it. And, Russ to his credit, did not say "I told you so". Angry Birds. The game not the App. Bea picked it and it is another really fun one to play all together. Our Jonas. Our very favorite one! The Baba and the Everett. I think I see some van der Hoeven in my son. Thank goodness Tante Lienie is a pro at putting things together!

At Home on the Prairie: July 2012
http://handmadeprairie.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
At Home on the Prairie. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. I love this man I married. More every day. These pictures are just a smattering of the camera-happy results of our little honeymoon excursion to the Outerbanks. We had five days of wonderful togetherness. We explored, we lounged, we made many precious memories. It was the best vacation ever! I can hardly wait for our next trip- maybe New Orleans? The view from our balcony. Message in the shells, for my R. Taken from the bottom at Currituck Lighthouse. I...

At Home on the Prairie: Everett's Christmas Pictures
http://handmadeprairie.blogspot.com/2012/12/everetts-christmas-pictures.html
At Home on the Prairie. Sunday, December 30, 2012. We gave both Ev and Bea cameras for Christmas. Mostly to lengthen the life of my camera. But also to encourage them to share their "world view" I love to see what is important to them. What they capture is special and a peek into their minds. These were a few of my favorites from E's camera. More to follow I am sure. Sunday, December 30, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow us on Instagram. View my complete profile. http://handmadeprairie.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
At Home on the Prairie. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. And, I think Evie was glad to come home too. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Monday, August 27, 2012. Not now. Then. Everett started Kindergarten today. I am reeling, but ok. I have been meaning to get a million things done as our summer winds down and our fall winds up. For example, sharing some happy, favorite moments from our wonderful summer vacation. Well, I can check that box now! The discovery room at the "bones" museum. My very...

At Home on the Prairie: April 2012
http://handmadeprairie.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
At Home on the Prairie. Saturday, April 28, 2012. Summer in a glass. Right for warm afternoons, perfect on a porch swing. Best enjoyed in a pretty dress (unless of course, you aren't the dress type.). I think I am gonna call it a summer blush, so if ya'll come around, ask for one and we can catch up while enjoying the golden summer evening light filtering through the leaves. In a glass ( I used a mason jar.obviously). Muddle two ripe strawberries. Squeeze half a lime over the strawberries. We aren't on v...
