SFCU Blog: November 2009

http://sfcublog.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 23, 2009. As part of the Go Green initiative SFCU will be taking advantage of Geo-thermal energy to heat and cool the new building. This will decrease dependency on fossil fuels. In the winter, fluid circulating through the system's earth loop absorbs stored heat and carries it indoors. http://sfcublog.blogspot.com/2010/03/1st-quarter-2010.html

Thursday, March 4, 2010. In January the generator was delivered and installed. With the colder weather and snow, the majority of the work moved inside. The offices were framed, sheet rock put up, windows installed, and walls sanded, primed and painted. The ceiling grid is being installed, and network cabling runs have started.
