Monday, 12 January 2015. Fragile Papers II or how not to deface a library book! So I had some bits and bob left over from my first fragile papers so made a second page in my art journal! I used the date label from the book, a scrap of the handmade coloured paper, a small tag stamped with my favourite Sara Naumann. Statement from the book. I thought this paparagraph. Tuesday, 23 December 2014. I made this simple wreath for my front door from a vine wreath purchased from a UK national hobby emporium. I dry brushed some Nougat Fresco on it, sprayed some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist. The fir cones were hot glued to string and the tips pained in Nougat. These were tied to the wreath, a knot of brown raffia added and finally some gorgeous green checked ribbon in a bow. Simple but oh so me! Merry Christmas blogger friends. Links to this post. Thursday, 14 May 2015. Mr Mojo and Ms Inspiration have gone AWOL. Its no good I've searched everywhere for them, under the bed, in the cupboards, in the attic, under the stairs, bottom of the garden, they've just gone. The little devils left no forwarding address, nor have they sent a postcard, email, Tweet or Instagram to say where they are. Without them I'm a bit stuck on the old creativity front. So until they return from their jaunt, this blog will be having a "rest". Links to this post.

Sunday, 23 August 2015. I'm not sure this is how I wanted this to look, but then again I don't know how I did want it to look, so perhaps IT IS how I wanted it to look! I'm thinking too hard! So this is an A4 piece of card that had Sage. Paint slapped on and spread out with an old credit card. Friday, 24 July 2015. Excited, very excited. Tomorrow I'm going on a Liz Cooksey. Workshop at Hope and Elvis. To say I'm excited is an understatement, a big understatement even though I am "dog tired" as they say. As you'll see if you click on the link, grids textures, fabric, paper and metal, these are a few of my favourite things I trill in my best Julie Andrews voice. I had time for a little crafting over the weekend in between work shopping.cooking.cleaning and cutting the grass.and what lovely weather we have had! Long may it last! I was very envious of some of my crafting pals who were able to attend Happy Stampers in Port Sunlight on Saturday.what a lovely place that is and a great show! I thought I might like to have a go.so using layers of mermaid.blue oyster.caramel.chalk.tango.beach hut and hey pesto fresco paints I made my background. As usual some lovely work.

Don't forget to Fly. Been having a play this afternoon and decided to make another niche to enter into the paper artsy challenge.you can see all the details here. I managed to get a couple of hours in my shed today.seems like ages! I have had quite an eventful couple of weeks and not in a good way. I am recovering from a very nasty abscess on the root of my tooth which was joined by a gum and bone infection all I will say is no food no sleep and PAIN!
