Step by Step Instructions - Toast. Place toaster on a flat sturdy surface. Plug toaster into powerpoint. Select a setting for the darkness of the toast, 1 - lightest and 8 - darkest. Place bread into the toaster. Wait for toast to spring up from toasting. (Is the toast dark enough? Leave toast to stand for a few minutes to cool. (Is the toast cool?
