Monday, September 13, 2010. A Family Wedding in New York City. We all gathered in NYC to celebrate our cousin Neil's wedding. It was amazing event at amazing venues. The Baarat started in Central Park and went through Columbus Circle (which they closed down for 15 minutes for us to pass) and ended at the Mandarin Oriental in Manhattan! Sunday, January 30, 2011. My Double Trouble Baby Shower. I felt so special and loved when my family and friends threw me a shower this weekend! I can't thank Mom, Alpana, Melissa, Parul and Rina enough for all that they did. The shower was a hit and I now have enough clothes and diapers to last me a good long while! I had so much fun celebrating with my ladies! We ate like queens, played games and opened gifts all afternoon. I am so blessed to have all these wonderful ladies in my life!

All the random things in life. Monday, February 4, 2013. Papdi No Lot (aka Khichu). Took a break from blogging last week but I'm back! Saturday was a rather cold, gloomy day so of course it called for some yummy Papdi no Lot. Some people also call it Khichu. It's super easy to make, 10 minutes tops! Rice flour - 2 cups. Water - 3 3/4ths to 4 cups. Green chili - 1.5. Ajmo (Ajwain) - a couple teaspoons. Jeeru (Cumin) - a couple teaspoons. Baking Soda - a pinch. Salt - to taste. View my complete profile.
