How to Get to Shalimar. Most major airlines fly into Fort Myers. And then you may rent a car to drive to Shalimar. From I-75 take exit 131 (old 21) (Daniels Pkwy) to Summerlin Road and follow the signs to Sanibel. Take the Florida Intracoastal Waterway. Click on map to enlarge. Take Chamberlin Parkway west and this road turns into Daniels (stay to left). Take Daniels west past I-75 and US41.
