OT Goals and Modalities. Consist of two 45-60 minute sessions in the office. Data is gathered by the therapist through testing and clinical observations. Information such as the birth, medical, developmental and sensory history is provided by the parents. If relevant, classroom teacher input is solicited. A written report is provided, as well as a detailed treatment plan, if warranted. Is offered for parents, teachers, and other professionals.

OT Goals and Modalities. Children with these symptoms can benefit from OT:. Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). Excessive sensory seeking behavior such as jumping, twirling or falling. Tactile or auditory defensiveness. Self-regulationissues (sleep, bowel/bladder control, behavior). Anxiety, low self esteem. Challenges with social interaction. A history of middle ear infections. Apraxia or other speech/language disorders. Immature reflex patterns that hinder development. Gross or fine motor incoordination.

OT Goals and Modalities. Shana is a solo practitioner with more than thirty years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of children 2-12 years old. She received her BS in OT from Tufts University-Boston School of Occupational Therapy. After working as an OT for several years, she attended graduate school at the University of Florida and received a Masters in Health Science degree with a specialty in Pediatric Occupational Therapy.

Voici le blog créé à l'attention de notre petite SHANA un staffordshire bull-terrier née le 28/04/2009 à l'élevage de la foret de jeand heur à côté d'Orléans. Shana est un peu particulière car elle est née couleur foie comme 2 de ses soeurs donc n'est pas confirmable. Heureusement elle est bien tombée car certains éleveurs n'auraient pas gardé des chiots dont la couleur n'est pas répertoriée!
