The city is known for its Liuxiang shopping district and the construction of parks and recreational areas on both sides of the Fen River. The Fen River flows across the city from north to south, dividing it into two parts: Qiaoxi (West of the Bridge) and Qiaodong (East of the Bridge). Very famous are the Wutai Shan temple grounds.
