The church down the road from us was selling the gourds, so we picked one up for family home evening, then wheeled it and the boys home in the wagon. A Little of This, Some More of That. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Oh what did we do in the summer time, when all of Austin was hot? Did we sit in the shade? Water was consumed in large quantities! Or swim in the pool to cool off? Swimming was a must! Is that what we did? Frequented splash pads weekly. Perspired while zipping around on scooters! Family came to suffer with us through the heat. Jumped on the trampoline when the sun was done baking us for the day. Tex obliged to cart Seth around as well.

A Little of This, Some More of That. Wednesday, March 19, 2014. June was a fun month of swimming, hanging at home and stopping by the boy's favorite doughnut. Matthew had no trouble jumping right in! Plus is didn't help that his instructor was a woman. He's quite the ladies man. Seth was a little more trepidatious about swimming. He didn't even get in the water the first day. A Little of This, Some More of That. Wednesday, January 14, 2015. We played soccer this year. The boys tried their hand at soccer this fall. We came a long way from the first game. Paul was the coach and the boys just cried and would't let go of their dad's leg. Once there was some talk about how it doesn't matter who wins or loses then the next game was a complete turn around. Seth couldn't get enough of the game and Matthew was a trooper and played in order to get the snack at the end. A Bit of Sunshine.

A Little of This, Some More of That. Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Driving to Colorado and Wyoming is cheaper than flying.but it also takes forever! We had a blast none the less. Yep he came too. He didn't lay down the whole way to Colorado. We hung out with GrandmO and GrandpO for a few days. It was fun to see how the boys handled mountains this trip. We thought Tomo would love CO. A Little of This, Some More of That. Monday, December 2, 2013. From the Top - Part 2. We found out that Seth is allergic to Pistachios (really allergic, like go to the ER allergic). We got him to the emergency room and I held him up to admitting window and said, "My son is having an allergic reaction". They swooped us right in. Long story short, we now carry an epi pen and steer clear of pistachios and cashews (the snooty nuts). Are those eyes puffy from crying or the pistachios? A Bit of Sunshine.
