Going South - Reason. This is a picture of our snow at our home last year while we were in Arizona. This is why we leavce to go south to become "snowbirds" every year since retirement. The snow was worse this year (record breaking) - dumping over eight inches of snow on Saturday before we decided to take off. His nerves were just a little on edge after our ordeal. This is what Tony was been doing almost daily for a week in Moscow, with some help from me. Labels: Tony and Sharon. JOHN HENRY SINGLETON was ...

Thursday, July 19, 2012. She Who Disappears to Geocache or Dances With Ticks? Today's lectures centered on Native Americans - -. Specifically the Lakota. I have been very interested. In the Lakota heritage because of our foster children,. Laura, Chris, and Kody. This is Laura with her first daughter, Victoria, in 2006. She abruptly left us in November of 2005. It wasn't until. She showed up with Victoria that we knew why. It was easier for her to return to her family than to. Tell us that she was pregnant.

Sunday, July 22, 2012. Too Soon and It Is All Over. It seems like just yesterday when I was putzing around. The house trying to finish packing. In that time my guineas have had keets,. My Royal Air Force Days. The other jet 200 (1982 ) in its hayday just prior to being flmed for an advert (forget what for), i had to entrust a very mod, looking actor to drive the thing for the film , he;d never driven a moto before, all went well. Unfortunately many of the lights got nicked one night during out trip round menorca. we spend the night in a tent inside an old military bunker on the beach, and in the morning some sod had half-inched the stuff! Still have both but both need another refurb.

Three Sisters: Sand Dune Buggy Bus
http://trio-of-sisters.blogspot.com/2012/07/sand-dune-buggy-bus.html
Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Sand Dune Buggy Bus. GEON is a perfect reason to blog once again and I am going to try to post about each day's events. They are fully packed and we don't finish until 9:00 some nights, so I'm not going to promise anything. As one of my students would tell me, "Suck it up, cupcake and just do it." So I'm just doing it. The Monday before we were to go, Vicki found out that she had a detached retina and had to go IMMEDIATELY for surgery and would be unable to go. He is the coordin...

Three Sisters: February 2012

Thursday, February 16, 2012. As some of you know, I have fallen in love with the sport of geocaching. It's kind of funny if you think about it . as geographically challenged as I am I love it. Really geocaching is nothing more than using million dollar satellite systems to find tupperware in the woods. Two weeks ago I went to Denver to the reading conference. I convinced my room mates to go out with me at 10:30. The first night because a big blizzard was predicted for the next day. So I combined the two ...

Thursday, March 10, 2011. Snap shots of turning one. He loves hanging out with his sister. The new Tonka truck was pretty neat. Figuring out how to drive. The lighting of the birthday candle! Playing with the cars instead of blowing out the candle. Of what a mess I am. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Did you know it is in our backyard? I enjoy board games, computer simulations, jigsaw puzzles and logic problems. I don't watch a lot of television, but I'm...

Three Sisters: June 2012
http://trio-of-sisters.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 21, 2012. My super over-achiever friend Julie inspired (guilted) me with the cool fairy garden she made with her girls for a contest on the Magic Onion. So I thought I'd give it the ol' slacker mom try and throw something together with my kids in case any fairy folk happened to be passing through the neighborhood. Fortunately, the extensive collection of lavender that was planted is still hanging on. What fairy house would be complete without a nice little outdoor shower? On the bright sid...

Sunday, April 15, 2012. A Moment of Silence. You know those times when it gets really quiet around the house and you suddenly realize that your children are either unconscious or helpfully decorating the side of the garage with that pack of Sharpies you shoved in the back of the junk drawer? I noticed a moment of silence kind of like that today and got a little worried. I went outside to investigate and the absurdity of this scene left me speechless. No snails were harmed in the making of this blog post.
