One of the Commission's biggest accomplishments was establishing the Handicapped Parking Ticket Fund program, with the Sharon Police Department. People who illegally park in handicapped spaces pay a $200 fine. This money goes to the Commission to use on projects that will benefit Sharon residents with disabilities.
