Wednesday, October 31, 2012. You can't really tell but this cute little pony has been sick all week. She did however make a miraculous recovery for trick-or-treating. Something tells me I'm going to pay for it tomorrow. She was such a cutie though.and so excited to be her favorite "my little pony", Rainbow Dash. Thursday, April 4, 2013. I love holidays. I love celebrations! I love the pure joy on my kids faces when they are excited and surprised. Childhood is so short, and "real" life is no were near as magical as childhood. I'm so grateful to be a mom and experience life through a child's eyes once again. And of course there was lots of candy, egg hunts, fun little presents, and family! Yesterday, I went and bought the boys some mattresses for their bunk beds we just set up. They were SO excited to finally have bunk beds! By the end of the night, it turned into their "fort". Well, I made my first cake with fondant, for Jared's birthday. He wanted a Thomas the Train cake so I had to get creative. It turned out pretty good, thank goodness, because it took 6 1/2 hours! After all that work, it was hard to think that a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds were going to eat my masterpiece! It was worth it though! Jared, while he was getting sung to. I had to take pictures of the older kids too! I took these today on the Big Horns on the way over to Sheridan. My kids are such good sports! Today Emily and Jacob are getting their school pictures taken, so I thought I'd take pictures of the two little ones out in the yard- let them have their own photo shoot. They turned out pretty darn cute! Jared learned how to ride his bike without training wheels this summer (age 3)! We went out for a walk the other morning and I had to take some pictures of him.

A very talented woman in our ward, Ronda Schroeder, sketched the beautiful pictures below. She is the one who painted many of the Christmas scenes on the store front windows down town this year. Ronda heard that we were participating in the "12 Days of Christmas" for a young couple in our community who's baby passed away not long ago. Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Here's a few Reese highlights from the last few months. Reese's hair is getting a lot longer. She's almost recovered from the "hair-cut" her cousin Crew gave her. She often likes to dress up as a cow-girl. I think we moved to the right place. This kid loves horses, cows and all thing that start with "howdy partner".
