Our Journey as a Family. Friday, August 10, 2012. Part 1- Lucia's Baptism. My beautiful niece Lucia was baptized on June 30th. We love this little girl so much and are so proud of her for her decision to follow in the path of our Savior. Noelle looks up to her so much. We were so excited to share this special day with her. Nana and Papa came out to pick up our kids to take them back to Sacramento the last week of the month. While they were here, we took them to our favorite spot, our lunch park!

I was in the hospital giving birth to the most beautiful twins in existance. it almost feels like a lifetime ago because my life has changed so dramatically. truth be told, i can't imagine my life without twins now. and on May 1st, Sarah will be 8 years old! Monday, November 5, 2012. I made rolls the other days and the girls were super duper excited to "help". I gave them my extra dough and let them play away. Do you like Ava's hairdo? She did it herself! And don't Sadie's rolls look great? Sadie got bored after 15 minutes but Ava played with the dough for nearly an hour. Totally worth the wasted dough! Their aprons are so cute! Beef Brisket w/ Smoky BBQ Sauce. 1 (2-3lb) beef brisket. 1 tsp chili powder. 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. 1/4 tsp. pepper. 1/2 C chili sauce. 1/4 C packed brown sugar. 2 Tbsp. vinegar. 2 Tbsp. worcestershire. 1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke. 1/2 tsp. dry mustard. Family Pictures and LIFE! We are some lucky people. We've always been ridiculously blessed, and I'm so thankful for everything we have! That being said, we were the lucky recipients of a photo shoot from a really cute young woman in our ward. They were doing a girl's camp fund raiser, and we won an hour session at the auction! We haven't had family pictures taken since Riley was a baby (sigh, what a terrible human being I am! So it was definitely time. This girl went above and beyond! Aaaaaannnnndddd....
