Weighing in at 9lbs and 22.5 inches long, we welcomed our sweet Emmett at 3:15am on March 7 after a QUICK and nearly painless labor. In fact, daddy had the honor of delivering Emmett because he came SO quick that the midwife didn't even make it! Mommy, daddy and big sister Eliana are so in love! He is absolutely precious! Hoping you are adjusting to life with two and all is well!

A day in the life of the Hervey's. Their birthday is scheduled :). The girls have an offical birthday, pending no changes in either hospital schedule, or growth of the two babes. The c-section is scheduled for June 15th at noon, Ricky and I check in at 10am, and get the party started in terms of getting these girls out of my big ol belly and into our arms. Hopefully see you all soon! More baby updates and trip to the zoo pictures. And life continues on. Him and dad watched that for the longest!

A day in the life of the Hervey's. Last night started off so well, with all kids being in bed by 8 o'clock, which was much needed as I literally didn't get to sit down and do something for myself for more then 5 minutes all day between dishes, washing clothes, food shopping and caring for kids. 9 o'clock pm is when I started to notice the night wasn't going to go well as originally. That is what was wrong with her last night and I just couldn't smell it. Gold star award for Brittnie. In the mom department.

A day in the life of the Hervey's. New ultra sound pics. The babies are growing, 1lbs 7oz according to the doctors. They of course always illustrate more possible concerns every time I see them, but the babies are in the normal ranges and looking good. Went from 20th percentile in weight to 40th in 2 weeks, the protein shakes are working. We got to see her yawn. HOW CUTE! Life goes back to normal. After realizing that both of our husband's would be out of town during the same week, Anne and I schemed to rendevouz in AZ for adventures in babysitting! We had five little bushkas between the two of us, ages: 5, 4, 2, 1, and 2 months. Add the 105 degree weather and we really whooped it up!
