http://shaunlim.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 28, 2004. Tourist attractions in Singapore are very interesting. There is the Mandai Zoo, one of the best in the world, featuring all sorts of animals and insects from all over the world. There is also Sentosa island, where tourists can view the magical "Underwater World" and such. Also there is the Night Safari; the first of its kind in the world where people can view animals in their "natural" habitat at night. For mor information about visitation, see:. Shaun, 10:58 AM. Wednesday, December 15, 2004. Singaporeans have a unique language refered fondly to as 'Singlish'. Singlish is really actually English. But in many ways, it's not. We mix English with colloquial speak of our own hence sometimes when you listen to us speaking, we sound like we are speaking a gibberish version of English. Posted by debs : 5:37 PM.

Friday, December 10, 2004. Chinese New Year is my most favorite holiday in Singapore. It occurs somewhere in late January and early Febuary (depending on the Chinese Lunar calendar) and spans 4 days. During these 4 days, everyone is out in their new Chinese New Year outfit (girls like me seize this opportunity to shop till we drop for our CNY outfit) and we spend these 4 days visiting our relatives and friends. A bit more about Chinese New Year can be found in the following article.

Thursday, December 09, 2004. Favorite hangouts in Singapore. Since Singapore is so small, there really isn't many places where you can go to hang out with friends. However, throughout the years, I have developed some personal favorites. Posted by debs : 5:06 PM.

Thursday, December 02, 2004. Another thing you should know about Singapore is how SMALL it is. Many people actually do not comprehend what I mean by 'small'. Singapore is approximately the size of Lake Taho. It is so small that you prolly can't even find it on the world map. It is more like the size of a dot. Think again. Singapore has one season. Summer. This is because Singapore is located right above the equator and temperatures range from 80 to 95 degrees DAILY. Posted by debs : 3:47 PM.
