Confessions of a lazy wannabe homesteader. Let’s Get In Touch. Sweet child of mine. August 14, 2014. The Little Mr., Declan, decided to make his grand appearance in the world on Friday, August 8th at 38 weeks and 5 days. I’m completely smitten with him! Adjusting to life with a newborn is definitely a change, and I’m still working on establishing new routines, but we’re getting there and things are adjusting out a bit. August 24, 2014 at 4:47 pm. How cute is your sweet little baby boy! A phrase I’m most ...

A little bit about marissa. Archive for January, 2010. January 31, 2010. 8211; Left the charm bracelet featured at the top of this blog at a lovely little bed and breakfast I went to. They never were able to find it. I’m very sad and have decided I’m just not meant to have a charm bracelet; I can’t take losing another one. Some of you out there are laughing your butts off after reading that last sentence, and then seeing that picture. A Day Late and a Dollar Short. Elbow deep in poo.

A little bit about marissa. Archive for June, 2010. June 15, 2010. The problem with blogging is that I would much rather be doing things than writing about them. However, I do like to share what I am up to, so I need to get better about updates. I have some finished objects to show and I’ve also been on quite a reading kick lately so I finally have some good books to talk about again. A Day Late and a Dollar Short. Elbow deep in poo. Sewing UFOs (unfinished objects). End of summer knitting wrap-up.

A little bit about marissa. Archive for October, 2010. October 12, 2010. I somehow managed to grab a large ‘We’re different’ kunterbunt (mixed bag) of 80/20 sock yarn in a Wollmeise update on 9/24 and I finally got it this morning. I love all of it to pieces. This stuff is hard to get and I can’t believe my good luck. From left to right: A versuchskaninchen (guinea pig) skein of blue with hints of purple, Spice Market, Grunfink (green finch), Merlot, and Flaschenpost (message in a bottle).

Spa night | Little Mris
https://littlemris.wordpress.com/2010/08/29/spa-night
A little bit about marissa. End of summer knitting wrap-up. August 29, 2010. It has been a long weekend here. In fact by Friday it had already been a long weekend before most people had even started their weekend. However I’m not here to complain and on a comparative basis I am in no position to be complaining. Instead I’m here posting uber relaxed after my spa evening (the best fix to crappy weeks and weekends). First up was a avocado/coconut milk/banana hair deep treatment. Feed for this Entry.

Sewing UFOs (unfinished objects) | Little Mris
https://littlemris.wordpress.com/2010/10/11/sewing-ufos-unfinished-objects
A little bit about marissa. End of summer knitting wrap-up. Sewing UFOs (unfinished objects). October 11, 2010. A couple of weeks ago I was cleaning out my closet because it was starting to feel a bit overwhelming and I was afraid an avalanche was eminent. While I was doing this I pulled out two unfinished sewing projects – my first ever project, a blanket, and the bag I was talking about a while back. Responses to “Sewing UFOs (unfinished objects)”.
