http://disbarringthecritics.blogspot.com/2014/10/federal-court-strikes-down-how-judges.html
The assumption that respect for the judiciary can be won by shielding judges from published criticism wrongly appraises the character of American public opinion.[A]n enforced silence, however limited, solely in the name of preserving the dignity of the bench, would probably engender resentment, suspicion, and contempt much more than it would enhance respect." Justice Hugo Black, Bridges v. California (1951). Friday, October 10, 2014. Besides the issue of electing Marion County judges in the general elect...

The Doorbell Rang by Rex Stout - A Review. My rating: 4 of 5 stars. This book, more than any of his other books. In The Doorbell Rang. Edgar Hoover. Researching hi...

My friend, the amazing poet Scott Woods, has some shit to say about Affirmative Action. You should read it. Source: Affirmative Action: You’re getting off light. August 7, 2015 2:18 PM. Fishers City Council Asserts Itself. Send me a postcard in case I’m home. Last night was the last episode of John Stewart on the Daily Show and the Republican Party Presidential Primary. I didn’t watch either! I DVR’d the first and tried to stay away from the second. Both represent some level of depression. One is depressing because it is the end of an era. The second is depressing because it is the start of another presidential campaign season! 2 Make some people hate other people.

USA Cricket Revival has an Indianapolis angle! August 6, 2015 3:07 PM. Fishers City Council Asserts Itself. Send me a postcard in case I’m home. For far too long Marion County Democrats have used the World Sports Park against Mayor Ballard. This may be politically smart but is short-sighted. No solicitations, spamming or advertisements...
