Waiting for the Muse. Thoughts and such on children's books and those of us who write them. Wednesday, January 7, 2009. I can't believe I let my blog go for so long! 160;I'm sorry if anyone was looking for more information on Vermont College or low-residency mfa in writing programs-I've let you down. But I'm back now, and my new year's resolution is to be better about blogging-once a week at least. So what will I do for this semester? 160;I think I want to choose one of the beginnings from last semester...

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. My Game Plan for NaNoWriMo 2008. Hard To Want: December 2008
http://hardtowant.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
My life. I can't complain, but some times I still do. Monday, December 15, 2008. Ryan was there beside her when it happened. She was perfectly healthy. Ryan had to sell his home and move in with his parents. He's left alone to raise two girls, ages 6 months and 3 years. It's hard enough with two parents. I called him and offered my condolences, but what can one really offer in that situation except empty words? Awful, just tragic. I thank my lucky stars and twenty other clichés.
