Our last local bookstore closed after struggling along for years. Those of us who loved it bought all our books, yard, magazines, jewelry, whatever they sold that we needed. Flying Pig Tales

This is my personal website and blog. I like to travel and in the past Ive posted travel blogs via the old email system. This year, Im doing it a bit differently - via my personal website. Upcoming trip is a cruise with my daughter, Sam. Were doing a 12 day beginning and ending in Venice, Italy. Our cruise will take us to Croatia, Greece and Turkey, before returning us to Venice. We all go through times when we are soooo busy it seems we just don't have time for what we love. I have been there, worn the hat, and bought the T-shirt. This last year and a half has been crazy here in the Carsten house. My husband Marty is still recovering from Meningitis, but he is doing GREAT! He was soooo very excited!
