Thursday, September 08, 2011. Gosh, what a slacker! I can't believe its been this long without my posting anything - I'm such a slacker! But we didn't realize it before now? Sheesh. Makes me all nervous about 12/21/12 now.you know, the end of the world and all. Well, I did catch up on work, our house survived and I did complete the half marathon! I am registered for a 10K in October and another half in the Outer Banks (yep the place that was nearly washed away from Irene) in November. Links to this post.

Sunday, December 30, 2007. Something really different - roving appliqued sweaters! I came across this site through ravelry and think this is just such a neat and unique idea. If it isn't unique - I've never seen it before - and I think its a neat idea for knitting. Not sure if you could do this on handknit sweaters that aren't felted. Artist Sara Rosensweet. Uses vintage adult sweaters and then cuts them up and makes them into children's sweaters. She was featured on Martha Stewart. Links to this post.
