The Sheep Barn: July 2014
http://thesheepbarn.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Fair week will be off and running starting tomorrow morning. The day before the fair opens all of the animals come to the fairgrounds. Before they can be admitted to the barns all of our local veterinarians examine them for signs of contagious diseases. In sheep that can included foot rot, sore mouth and keds (sheep lice). A big thanks to all of these vets that volunteer their time at the fair every year. (The sheep would especially like to thank Dr. Robert Moody! August 4-7, 2016.

http://boulderneigh.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-lot-to-say-on-mothers-day.html
Tending fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and a whole lot more on a small acreage in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Sunday, May 10, 2015. A lot to say on Mother's Day. First of all, an update on our birdhouse – remember, the one that bluebirds moved into immediately? Friday night we had an unfortunate incident here. Rick decided to take Jackson into the pasture to help move the sheep back to the fold for the night, in spite of my protestations. I knew. Yeah, they are at that. He told me last night he had an ...

Boulderneigh: Same song, umpteenth verse
http://boulderneigh.blogspot.com/2015/05/same-song-umpteenth-verse.html
Tending fine-fleeced Shetland sheep and a whole lot more on a small acreage in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Tuesday, May 05, 2015. Same song, umpteenth verse. Ah, therein lies the rub. Tempting to stay up last night when the full moon was playing hide-and-seek with the swiftly flying clouds, but I was a good girl and went to bed after snapping a few photos.). To satisfy my urge I'm going to try composing several posts at a time, when. Of blooms, but I'll enjoy the beauties that show up. Writing a cou...

Boston Lake Farm: Sunday School Crafts
http://bostonlakefarm.blogspot.com/2014/06/sunday-school-crafts.html
Tuesday, June 10, 2014. I love teaching Sunday School at. Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Puposky. Here are a couple of crafts we did in class recently. Many thanks to Clancy for sketching the people and the ark and the background for the Noah story. Please note that this is not our best artistic work, as most of it was drawn and cut out late in the night before Sunday. Mercifully, kids are less critical about these crafts than our inner critics. Boston Lake Farm: Our Farm
http://bostonlakefarm.blogspot.com/p/our-farm.html
We have sold our flock of Shetland sheep as of June 2013. We are still farming our fields with alfalfa crops and planting fruit and nut trees. Sabrina is also still creating her needle felted artwork. We hope to have sheep again someday when our schedules settle down. In the meantime, please enjoy the posts about the wildlife and family antics around Boston Lake Farm. :). Clancy mowing a new "line" for the fence to be set into. Boston Lake Farm: April 2014
http://bostonlakefarm.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2014. The small bit of ice on Boston this morning was completely gone by late afternoon. Clancy heard loons before dawn. Leif went kayaking in the evening. Links to this post. Labels: family and friends. Saturday, April 26, 2014. Thanks to the ice being almost out on Boston Lake, there are many wonderful dead things washed up on shore for Lleulu to roll in. She is very pleased with her smears of stink. They make quite a fuss when Lleulu makes her rounds in their area. Links to this post.
