Simply a blog about insect collecting and identification. September 27, 2012. I’ve been in Chicago for about the last week. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to do any collecting while there, but I didn’t go away empty handed. I found a female. Under a stone in my cousin’s backyard. Next time I’ll have set aside some time and find somewhere to look for bugs! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Simply a blog about insect collecting and identification. Hi, welcome to my blog. I’ve decided to start this blog as a way to help record my thoughts and experiences of insect collecting and identification, not only for myself, but for anyone interested in insects. I also volunteer as an editor at BugGuide.net. It’s a great site with an awesome community, and it has helped me learn more about insects than I ever thought possible. September 27, 2012 - 7:47 pm.
