Monday, May 24, 2010. It's been 2 weeks and 2 days since Tristan was born. I weighed myself today and discovered that I've lost 24 lbs. I'm now just about at pre-pregnancy weight. I'm a bit surprised! I've been eating lots (just ask E, he cooks for me most of the time these days) and I'm losing weight fast. Over the last week I lost 5 lbs. I feel great, so I'm not too worried. I just hope that the midwives don't yell at me when I go in for my 6 week appointment! Isn't he a cutie! Things That Make Me Happy.

Saturday, May 14, 2011. May has come along and with it lots more rain. in between downpours, we have ben's t-ball games. what an adventure this is! He takes it very seriously and believes his sole purpose on this earth is to catch the ball. The yard and gardens here are beautiful. i can't believe they are mine. every day almost brings a surprise. flourishing bleedings hearts, huge hostas. thriving berry patch. lilacs, clematis, roses. so exciting.
