每年12月是龍鑾潭渡冬雁鴨種類、數量的最高峰，入冬來已有澤鳧、花嘴鴨、小水鴨、赤頸鴨、琵嘴鴨、尖尾鴨及稀有的白額雁、豆雁、磯雁、鈴鴨等，墾管處明日起至100年1月30日止，舉辦 龍鑾潭雁鴨季 水鳥世界探索 賞鳥活動。 國立海洋生物博物館籌備兩年餘的 毒領風騷 有毒海洋生物特展 已正式於二樓的特展區開展。 恆春半島海域日前出現公牛鯊，雖然距墾丁各大遊憩區尚有一段距離，但仍不能排除鯊魚接近的可能性，墾管處21日啟動台灣首次的 海、陸防鯊巡護 ，除了協調海巡單位加強巡邏，岸際也有人員隨時監看，轄區一有鯊蹤將關閉遊憩區，保障暑假龐大的戲水人潮安全 此外，針對梅花鹿遭獵殺傳聞，墾警隊也加強夜間巡邏查緝工作。 車城海生館今年暑假推出 保育海龜特展 ，有綠蠵龜、欖蠵龜等海龜家族成員與民眾相見歡，有著 鷹勾鼻 嘴巴的玳瑁，上喙尖而下鉤，又名為 鷹嘴龜 ，是最好辨認的特徵，玳瑁有貌似港星劉德華帥氣的外觀，有些遊客戲稱牠是海洋世界中的 劉德華 一點也不為過。 2 古城 揚 藝 打造恆春藝術重鎮. 4 朱延平執導 天生一對 5月底墾丁開拍.
