Monday, June 10, 2013. I Heart Warli Art! Happiness has a new address is what my sister in law, Kajal said when we closed the deal on our brand new Home. She was so right! It will be almost three months since we moved into our new home. With the weather getting better, I am now in the mood to decorate the home. I have always loved Warli art and Kutchi Lipan Kaam. I always wanted to incorporate them in my home decor but for some reason never did! Excuse the mess please! I don't know how long will it stay ...

Sunday, August 31, 2014. Vegetarian Road Trip - Yellow Stone National Park - Food. Day 1 was exhausting! We drove about 1000 miles from Chicago Midway Airport to Rapid City, SD. Thank fully the kids behaved very well! During the last hour Shiv started complaining of boredom but that is completely valid. We took short stops for food for Mr. Roadster (read fuel) and to answer nature's call. with three boys in the van, what do you expect! It felt so good and refreshing! Except the three days in Yellow Stone...

Thinking out loud!: January 2012
http://redcilantro.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 26, 2012. I have an over load of oranges at home because Shiv wanted the 'cuties' and Ishaan wanted the navel oranges. My fruit basket was over flowing with other fruits so I had to come up with a better way of storing all the oranges. I kept them in my candle holders which makes such a lovely center piece for my dining table. I wish I had some greenery to add to the hurricanes. Links to this post. Friday, January 20, 2012. Ishaan is a big cookie monster! Recipe adapted from: Annies-eats.

Thursday, November 24, 2011. Multi Bean Crepes/ Dosa/ Adai - Revisited. I have heard that people eat with their eyes first. I love making these crepes as it makes my kids think I am a cool cook because I can make a food tepee. Moreover, these are packed with proteins because of all the beans. To make these yummy crepes is:. 1 1 cup rice. (I use half brown and half white rice). 3 2-3 green chillies (you could increase or decrease the quantity as per your taste). 4 7-8 curry leaves. What you need to do is.

Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Eggless Banana Crumb Muffins. I had a bunch of overly ripe bananas and did not know what to do with them. My boys are tired of banana bread and don't enjoy more than a slice. So, this I decided to make Banana Muffins. I did not find much of difference in the taste between the bread and the muffins because both have a strong banana flavor. The name says it. Duh! Well, coming back to the recipe. It has been adapted from here. 1 APF: 1 1/2 cups. 2 Baking powder: 1 tsp. I am alw...

Thinking out loud!: Vegetarian Road Trip - Yellowstone National Park
http://redcilantro.blogspot.com/2014/08/vegetarian-road-trip-yellowstone_23.html
Saturday, August 23, 2014. Vegetarian Road Trip - Yellowstone National Park. Because the destination was Yellowstone National Park (YNP). "So what? You ask. Well. YNP has been on Viren's bucket list FOREVER! I have also heard from friends that it is beautiful - not just the park, but the drive there also. So I thought this would be the perfect time to do it because I am between jobs right now so I don't have to worry about PTO and a couple of our friends are joining from CA. For one week I lived and brea...
