To 　- note of our daily life. カロリーが気になりつつ、さつまいもにはやっぱりバターが合う気がして、毎回バターを使ってます。 今回は週末を挟んだので、子供たちと何をしようかと考え、どこかに連れて行くことも考えましたが、結局いつものように、近くの公園へ出かけたり、一緒にスタバにお茶しに行ったり、WalmartやTargetをうろうろしたりで終わりました。 金曜の夜は、友人夫婦が夕ご飯に呼んでくれて、庭でトマトを摘んだり、ミニ野球をしたり、ゲームをしたり。 楽しすぎて、夜遅くまでおじゃましてしまいましたが、子供たちも私も、それでいい気分転換ができました。 昨日の日曜日は、とっても気持ちがいい天気になり、お昼を持って公園へ。 子供たちがめいっぱい遊んでくれたおかげで、私はひとり、木陰でのんびり、読みかけの本を読めました. ずっと行ってみたかったカフェ、 broder nord. どれも食べてみたくなるメニューでしたが、行った日も食べている人が多かったSwedish pancakeとSwedish breakfastプレートをシェア。 お友達おすすめの、 Red Sail.

After Opal Pool, we looped back past Jawbone Flats, an old mining outpost that still has a few rusty remnants of the old inhabitants. The trail is much more exposed here, and we certainly felt the heat, but soon enough we were back on the shaded trail headed downstream to our first swimming hole. The falls along Opal Creek.

Last Saturday I took a much-needed break from store-set up to help out my friends Dana and Nick. Dana is starting a winery, and they needed some extra hands to process the grapes that had come in that week for their Cabernet Sauvignon, so I headed out to the Hillsboro area for an eduction in wine-making and a few hours of work/fun.
