Chief Fontneau is a multiple recipient of the United States Justice Award for Excellence, Police Officer of the Year, attended the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) National Academy and is a Yale Fellow in Child Development. Chief Fontneau has played a key role in helping the City of Stamford become one of the safest cities in the nation and northeast.
