Home of the Send Train. Mount Shuksan – Fisher Chimney’s and SE Ridge. November 30, 2013. With the relatively long days that Washington was still having, we figured that our close to 4PM departure from Artist Point towards Lake Ann would still provide us with enough time to get to the top of the chimneys just before dark. Half walking and half jogging, we made it to Lake Ann in about two hours, so things were looking good so far. View of Shuksan from just above Lake Ann. Heading towards the fun part.

The Milieu is the thinner glacier heading up the middle of the peak in the center. This tour was definitely what you might consider to be a slog. We worked our way up the long winding glacier through breakable crust that we were optimistic would warm up enough to be fun skiing on the way back down in a few hours. This entry was posted in Ski. I'm kind of bored with this blog lately. I think I may scrap it and start another one. Something fresh new and interesting. Hope everyone is having a great spring and summer! And hope everyone's shred seasons wrapped up nicely! I have pics on my external hard drive. I'm incredibly sick right now, so I'm too lazy to put them up.
