There is a steel mill, two oil refineries, and a power station to name a few of the manmade activites in the area. We actually ran into our neighbors as we were walking. They told us how in their lifetime they had seen the area go from sand dunes and marshes to heavy industry. They still come to walk the area as they had done in their youth. What a lovely sight!

Saturday, July 18, 2015. I took sailing in college and would take any chance I could get when I was at BYU to go sailing with the sailing club. I was super excited when Becca and Christopher said they were going to take us sailing! Michael and I went sailing once together and we were constantly worried about capsizing, now I realize that maybe we weren't as close as I thought back then.
