Wilde Ganzen ondersteunt ook de projecten van Stichting Installatietechniek Friesland voor Nepal. Wilde Ganzen is de expert op het gebied van concrete projecten in ontwikkelingslanden. Wilde Ganzen stelt mensen in staat om initiatieven ter bestrijding van armoede zelf uit te voeren. Hiervoor werft Wilde Ganzen fondsen en worden kennis en begeleiding geleverd. Samen met betrokken Nederlanders doen ze dat al bijna 55 jaar. Er zijn inmiddels ruim 10.000 projecten succesvol afgerond.

Warm- en koud watersysteem en toiletten voor eerste hulppost. Bij de eerste hulppost in Bachhauli is door de leerlingen een warm- en koud watersysteem aangelegd. Was er daarvoor helemaal geen watervoorziening, nu kan het de functie van een klein ziekenhuisje krijgen. Er zijn toiletten gemaakt en een doucheruimte met warmwater. Op deze wijze kunnen er zo nodig zieken blijven overnachten. Download onze brochure (pdf).

Voor de komende periode proberen we geld in te zamelen en van fondsen als Simavi en Wilde Ganzen financiële ondersteuning te krijgen voor een drietal nieuwe projecten. De dorpsgemeenschappen en schoolbesturen van de Jhuwani en Bachhauli scholen in het district Bachhauli en de Bhomadoya school in het district Padampur, willen graag nieuwe toiletgebouwen bij hun scholen. Deze stichting heeft als doelstelling beter sanitair voor de Nepalese bevolking aan te leggen en dan met name voor schoolkinderen.
