Where to go, When? We went to Rome over the New year weekend of 2009-2010. The weather was cool and just right for sightseeing! It was also our first travel since coming to Europe! While historic city center has mosque church! Another thing is, you will not get vegetarian food easily. Better you have translations written down with you because neither does anyone know English! Where to go, When? Austria ( Dolomites, Italy). We went to Austria towards the end of June driving in a car. Trip Route: home Cologne – Munich Kitzbhuel Cortina D’Ampetso Vienna Salzburg. Day 1: Started early morning to reach Cologne. The Cologne church is huge and was also considered for one of the wonders of the world. It is allowed to go to the tower of the Church from where you can get a full view of the city. After a couple of hours, we proceeded to Munich for the day stay. Drove 3hours to Vienna.
