Other People's Money - Here I am. 3am in the land of nod. Laquo; previous entry. Next entry ». Dec 8th, 2013 11:03 am. The more I think about it, the more I am forced to acknowledge that he is correct. The thing is (and I think the thing he doesn't really consider) is the fact that this is true for capitalism too. No matter what, you eventually have to spend your own resources, or find a way to get blood from the stone. And that's part of what I want to talk about. We also have the set of people who, whi...

My inner introvert (yes, I have one) has kind of taken over my life when Im not working, largely because work has turned into a giant cluster f* k of a mess since my boss left. Paul is still only working part time at the dog park, which barely covers his own expenses, so money is very.ephemeral? My newest obsession and ...

J-v-lynch pointed out on our weekend away last weekend that I seem… - Baroness Lucia d'Enzinas
http://cortejo.livejournal.com/1671178.html
Using ye old Livejournal. May 21st, 2015. J-v-lynch pointed out on our weekend away last weekend that I seem extra angry. That I seem to dislike people more than usual. That I am abrupt. And that I have fewer social graces than usual. So I've been thinking about my anger. I am angry because:. 1) book isn't fun any more. Its a giant deadline and an expensive grocery list. 2) Fibro isn't really a diagnosis. Its a label. And I just hurt all the time. 5) my bestie is too far away. 12) the SCA is frustrating ...

Engineer, pilot, feminist, mother, etc. Engineers, safety, why we're different and why it's complicated. Jul 29th, 2015 at 1:06 PM. Whenever there's a high profile product safety case in the news, someone asks engineers this question:. Didn't you want to make your product as SAFE AS POSSIBLE? And here's how we respond:. I just read a wonderful article in The New Yorker about automotive safety ( The Engineer’s Lament: Two ways of thinking about automotive safety. By Malcolm Gladwell. Which, as the article...

I have decided to switch my journal over to friends only. I don't… - Why bother doing it at all if you're only going to do it halfway?
http://kiri-bean.livejournal.com/52942.html
Why bother doing it at all if youre only going to do it halfway? Jan 27th, 2005. I have decided to switch my journal over to friends only. I don't really have a reason, except that I value my privacy and I like to know who's reading me. Note: If you are on my friends list, you are already able to read. I deleted all my old posts because it was faster than converting them to friends only, and I'm lazy like that. 5 comments Leave a comment. Jan 9th, 2007 07:10 am (UTC). FiIinnE. defriend me :P.
