Welcome friend, Let's see what's going on Sikkim and hills. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. A glance at Greenfield Airport. Sikkim's first and only airport Greenfield is being constructed. Situated at Pakyong it's 35kms away the capital town Gangtok. The new Greenfield Airport will be 1700 meters long which means a long runway. Two parking bays will be included. The Terminal Bay would be able to handle 100 passengers at a time. But only aircrafts like ATR 72s would be available in the airport.

Gorkha league president, Mr. Tamang was brutally stabbed by the conspirators this morning. Reports say that Gorkha Janmukti Morcha is said to have hunted down the brave deer. Today morning, Madan Tamang accompanied by 20-25 supporters had gathered at Upper Clubside in front of popular restaurant Dekevas for public meeting. This incident lasted for barely few minutes.
