Friday, January 10, 2014. Starting a New Year. All 4 of my boys are asleep before 9pm tonight, so why not start the new year off with a little planning. There seem to be a lot of haters on goals/resolutions, but I love them. Goals give vision and direction while providing a tentative roadmap for year. I love that they are measurable (vs. just picking a word and trying to apply it). Attend women’s Bible study @ Fellowship. Join Discovery in fall. Continue Awana with kids. Pray together more as a couple.

Thursday, October 27, 2011. Rock 'n' roll st. louis. My (single) brother-in-law, paul, and i ran the st. louis half marathon! Among the other 20,000 runners. The night before the race i got food poisoning and was throwing up and going to the bathroom until 11pm. long story, but i don't think the fridge in our room was properly working, and after i drank 2 large glasses of semi-cold milk, my stomach immediately started grumbly and then everything went sour. Friday, June 29, 2012. Paxton and parker's nursery. I am doing a link up today with kelly's korner about nurseries! Below are a few pics of paxton's nursery. i used the same room/bedding for both boys because i am too cheap to buy all new things. Paxton's dedication verse, isaiah 40:31, above his crib:. I always squeem when i hear people say, "being a stay at home mom is the hardest job in the world." don't get me wrong- staying at home can be very difficult in an emotionally frustrating way that is different than work stress. however, elevating stay at home moms to the place of doing the hardest work in the world unintentionally puts down dads and working moms. Monday, July 14. Just some fun summer pix. Summer is wonderful. it is fun to have so much time with the kiddos. My favorite few things. 1) not having to rush all the time to get places. 2) time to just BE together 3) super creative and fun kiddos. Saturday, July 4, 2009. 13: Spend a day in the mountains! Last weekend, the Cole family, minus Bryan made our way up to Copper Mountain for a great weekend of relaxing, hiking, sleeping, and fishing. We were up there for 3 days. Here are a couple fotitos from the weekend:. Once we got up hiking, there was a lot of snow. There was a whole ski run covered in a about 6 feet of snow. Monday, January 27. Ski helmets and lots change at church. I am typing from the Milwaukee airport. Leaving our kiddos with Neal and Cyndie. And leaving the sub zero temps behind.
