Always looking for new taste sensations. September 19, 2012. Tukka Restaurant – Review. I’ve copied the a la carte menu below and bolded the items we ordered. We started with the possum and pork belly pie, emu liver pate, cured crocodile and a native platter for three (To share between the five of us). Df = dairy free, gf = gluten free, v = vegetarian, $mkt = market price. Confit of Tasmanian possum and pork belly pie, sautéed brussel sprouts tossed with pepperberry pancetta and a davidson plum jus.

Homemade Peri Peri Chicken Recipe. 1 Large Family sized chicken (I think this one was about 3-4kgs (Two med size ones will do as well). 1 Cup of Peri Peri Sauce. 1 Butterfly your chicken by cutting out it’s back bone. (Hopefully I’ll get around to describing this in a post on this but there’s plenty of youtube videos). 2 Spread it flat in a dish and make several 1cm deep cuts into the flesh across the meaty parts. Butterflied, scored and slathered with Peri Peri.

Always looking for new taste sensations. July 17, 2013. Chilli Bacon and Angelhair Pasta. I make many variations of this dish and so can you. It’s super easy and you can add in whatever meats or vegetables you have in the fridge. I find it tastes better the next day when reheated as it gives time for the flavours to soak into the pasta. 300g Bacon sliced into thin strips. 250g Dry Angelhair pasta (cook according to packet instructions and drain well) 3-5mins boiling time. 6 cloves of garlic thinly sliced.
