Sunday, April 12, 2009. Darren is now referring to this as my blog.hence the reason why he hasn't posted in months. I'll see if I can convince him to write something so you're not just hearing baby-babble from me. The food/beer was okay.I think the place is more about the atmosphere than anything. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. We survived our first road trip with Newlyn last weekend. We drove to Maryland to visit with family. We stayed with my grandma ("Girty") and were able to see my Uncle Tracy and my mom. Girty loved the baby and spent hours holding her, which gave me a lovely break. On Sunday, we headed to Bedford to see Darren's parents. Luckily, Darren's uncle was in town from Tennessee, so he was able to meet the baby as well! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, July 27, 2009. Almost a Month Old. Shannon has been visiting with us for a few days. We've had a good visit and Shannon has been a huge help around the house. This morning, she took care of Newlyn. So I could take a much-needed nap. Today we went shopping and bought some really cute clothes for the baby. Saturday, August 22, 2009. Hiking at McConnell's Mill. We're looking forward to taking her on more walks through Frick Park and back to Ohiopyle in the fall. Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Trip to WP…So Much for Crab Carnival. Me, Stephanie, David, and Eva.I don't think David thought I'd actually post this! In other news, my job is changing a bit. I’m going to be working with another business unit at work, which will prove to be challenging. I’ll be working in a much more clinical environment (anyone know any nurses? Saturday, September 19, 2009. Summer's Over - Back to the Grind! Oh boy, where to begin? It's been a while since we last posted because we've been busy enjoying the end of the summer. We went to Cincinnati to see my aunt and uncle, took the baby to her first baseball game (go Reds! Newlyn is tons of fun to play with these days. She's cooing and laughing all the time now. Every morning she greets me with a big stretch followed by a big smile. We're so lucky to have such a happy baby! Double-L, DL and NL.

Monday, November 17, 2008. WE ARE.PENN SOAKED! Now that we're back on the east coast, I figured it was only fitting to take L to her first home Penn State game, complete with the requisite tailgating beforehand. Nevertheless, I manned the grill and enjoyed a couple cold ones before the game (check out the award-winning mullet on the guy behind me):.
